It is now universally agreed that when the "Quake" crisis struck the earth, the main weapon that the otherworldly entities possessed was the surprise and obscurity within which they cloaked themselves. The creatures, or "Demons" as many in the military, scientific and civilian sectors have tagged them (And perhaps not without reason), were utterly unprecedented, and their ferocity and power was truly daunting. Part of the reason they were able to do so much damage in so little time, therefore, was the fear their threat presented. This fear and lack of concrete knowledge made initial intelligence gathering attempts very difficult, to say the least.
But now that the main debacle has been ended, with reports collected from operatives though deceased and from dissections, dimensional readings, slipgate probes and assorted other batteries of tests, we are now finally beginning to piece together the mystery that is Quake.
Although it unlikely we shall ever know the full and complete truth, the following data files contain a considerable amount of accurate intelligence concerning the Quake invasion forces.
